Testimonials
“Rachel Scott was appointed as our defence barrister in a small claims. Rachel was extremely efficient and thorough with her review of the documentation and preparation for the hearing. We were amazed that she had pin pointed various red flags to be raised as our defence which we had not picked up on and these definitely worked in our favour in having the claim against us dismissed. Rachel explained everything to us clearly from the outset and was very helpful in answering our questions. The way Rachel presented herself in the hearing was commendable. We now have the confidence in knowing who to contact if ever another situation like this was to arise. We would not hesitate in recommending her to all of our family and friends. We would like to thank you once again for your hard work and efforts in this matter.”

CLIENTS SAY

Chambers is a friendly and approachable set in its entirety

I thoroughly enjoyed my mini-pupillage with Estuary Chambers. I would recommend this experience to any aspiring barrister in order to gain a practical insight into the differences between the Employed Bar and the Independent Bar - insight you just cannot gain from a google search. With the exception of one barrister, I either met or shadowed every barrister in Chambers including the Head of Chambers. Additionally, I got to meet and discuss cases with solicitors whom have instructed in-house Counsel which, in my experience, is not something mini-pupils often get to do. I have also been grateful for the friendly and helpful assistance of the clerk whom was my point of contact throughout. As a result, I can safely say Chambers is a friendly and approachable set in its entirety.

A friendly and honest approach

With a background in both civil and criminal law, Kylie is able to provide detailed and knowledgeable advice to help clients in the most complex of matters. A friendly and honest approach adds to her client rapport.

The experience has affirmed my career aspirations of becoming a barrister

I would just like to say a massive thank you to you and everyone else at Estuary Chambers. I thoroughly enjoyed my mini-pupillage and the experience has affirmed my career aspirations of becoming a barrister. I really hope to see you again in the future and maybe will have the pleasure of working with you in years to come. Thanks again
